The Wine Route 2024

A carefully planned journey through the land of Italian Renaissance everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Beginning in the Chianti region, we will experience the fascinating hills and valleys of the Tuscan countryside, visiting iconic towns and some of the most unique vineyards and cellars of Italy. We will relish food and wine tastings, learning with both our taste buds and bellies all that this fabulous region has to offer.

The route

Starting in the Siena countryside, we will experience the real gold of Tuscany, from Montepulciano and Montalcino, to Volterra and Florence, and all the unspoken gems in between.

DAY 1 (10/10) 40 km: ‘WELCOME TO TUSCANY’

Airport pickup (Florence) - hotel check-in - tour briefing - motorcycle induction - panoramic warm up ride - wine experience dinner - overnight in historical residence.

DAY 2 (11/10) 180 km: ‘SIEANA TO MONTALCINO’

We will ride through the hills where the mythical Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino grapes grow, enjoy an epic winery experience and wine tasting in Montepulciano itself, and then finish the day at a Montalcino farmhouse where we will feast on a real Tuscan dinner and stay for the night.

DAY 3 (12/10) 200 km: ‘MONTALCINO TO VOLTERRA’

We will discover the less commercial regions of Bolgheri and Sassicaia, splendid for their sceneries and of course wines, experience a tour and wine tasting at one of the most beautiful wineries of the region, and then end the day in the beautiful Volterra.

DAY 4 (13/10) 180 km: ‘VOLTERRA TO FLORENCE’

We couldn’t end this tour without a memorable last day riding through the superb Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Chianti Classico regions. For the meat lovers there will be the opportunity to lunch on the world-famous Fiorentina T-bone steak (veg option will be available). Finally, via sweet and enjoyable roads we will descend to Florence for a great celebratory dinner party.
