We create motorcycle trips we want to experience.
Classic bikes, unique hospitality, cultural heritage, stunning landscapes and delicious food & wine are what we love, and what we love to share with you.

The Clubhouse

Nestled in the beautiful Republic of San Marino hills is our operational home, a motorcyclist’s dream, our RIDE 70s Clubhouse. This is where many of our Italian tours begin, where we host motorcycle events, classic bike trainings, BBQs and parties, and of course where we work on our collection of classic motorcycles.  We look forward to welcoming you into our world.

Our Mantra is zone out and enjoy the ride away from traffic, with spectacular views through winding roads, mountains, coasts, gorges and old villages.

Our motorcycle trips in Italy are carefully designed for you to enjoy ‘la dolce vita’, while discovering hidden gems, traditions and authentic delicious food and wines.

Our history

It all began in 2011 when Pietro, a passionate motorcyclist born and raised in the home of Italian motorsport, Imola, first founded the Imola Vintage Garage with a small collection of classic motorcycles.

As the project grew, it evolved into RIDE 70s Experience, with more bikes, short guided trips, and a brand new location in a beautifully repurposed old stable in the Republic of San Marino, not far from Italian motorcycle heritage epicentre Bologna. Over the years and with the help of friends, several classic and original motorcycles were added to the collection, while the passion and dedication for memorable bike trips kept growing.

In 2022, Fabio, an automotive photographer, journalist as well as rider since a tender age, joined forces with Pietro for the transformation of RIDE 70s, first into a motorcycle club dedicated to motor tourism, and then in 2024 into a proper motorcycle tour operator open to all riders.

Today we share our passion for motorcycle travel and vintage bikes by creating and personally leading Italian and European tours for small groups of people, able to join with their own bikes, or rent from our exclusive collection of retro bikes, for the thrill of learning how to ride a classic and experience a real motorcycle journey in time.

“I must have been 4 or 5 years old when I first walked on the Imola racetrack. In the early seventies, my grandfather Gardo regularly took me to see the 200 Miles of Imola, the so-called Daytona of Europe. I will always carry that experience in my heart. Those motorcycles, those people, those smells, those noises and colours represent to me pure and genuine motorcycling, driven first of all by passion”
