Coast 2 Coast 2024 - fully booked

THIS TOUR IS NOW FULLY BOOKED. We are now taking pre bookings for a second run in June/August/September.

If you ever wanted to experience the best Italy has to offer in one go, then this ‘east to west and back’ of amazing mountains, valleys, heritage, food and hospitality is for you. Beginning with a warm welcome at our clubhouse in the Republic of San Marino, we will leave the Adriatic coast and ride through the best peaks of the Small Alps to reach the famed Tuscany, land of incredible culture and superb culinary traditions. After visiting the iconic medieval city of Siena, we will continue through picturesque hills and valleys all the way to the Etruscan coast. Eating and drinking our way through some of the best food and wine Tuscany has to offer, we will then reach the eminent homeland of Italian language, Florence. For our final stretch, we will dive into a true motorcycle playground, crossing the amazing Passo del Muraglione and riding hairpins and empty twisty roads back through the Small Alps, and finally arrive back in San Marino for a chill at the SPA and then a very special dinner party at our RIDE 70s clubhouse.

The route

Starting in San Marino, we will ride a loop from the Adriatic coast on the eastern side of Italy to the Etruscan coast on the western side, experiencing the most incredible Tuscan hotspots.

DAY 1 (16/05) 80 km: ‘WELCOME TO SAN MARINO’

Rimini pickup – welcome to RIDE 70s clubhouse - tour briefing – motorcycle induction - panoramic warm up ride - overnight in San Marino.

DAY 2 (17/05) 180 km: ‘SAN MARINO TO SIENA’

Via the twisty roads of the Apennine Mountains, we’ll enter the marvellous Tuscany and immediately encounter a little gem of medieval times, the enchanting town of Anghiari. Continuing towards the Val d’Arno, we’ll experience the landscape depicted in Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Gioconda’, and finally reach the iconic Siena countryside for the night.

DAY 3 (18/05) 180 km: ‘SIENA TO THE ETRUSCAN COAST’

Heading towards the Val d’Orcia we’ll stop for a coffee in Siena before continuing for ‘lunar’ landscape of Crete Senesi, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany, called lunar because of its incredible and picturesque bare hills. Continuing onto the famous ‘Eroica race’ route, we’ll reach the ‘Alta Maremma Toscana’, where we’ll enjoy some of the best Tuscan homemade cuisine. In the afternoon we’ll then continue to the exquisite Etruscan coast.

DAY 4 (19/05) 180 km: ‘ROUTE TO FLORENCE’

We’ll head back inland passing by the beautiful Bolgheri and Volterra to then hit the sweet twisties of the Chianti hills, where we’ll enjoy incredible views of centenary vineyards and olive orchards. Finally, we’ll reach the majestic Florence from a high vantage point and then end the day between centenary olive trees at a beautiful traditional Tuscan agriturismo.

DAY 5 (20/05) 200 km: ‘FLORENCE TO SAN MARINO’

On this last day we’ll ride roads seemingly made for motorcyclists. We’ll cross the Muraglione Pass, a must for riders, to then ride ridges above canyons and from the distance catch first sight of the Adriatic coast and San Marino. We’ll finally descend to San Marino and to our hotel for a chill at the SPA before a special dinner party at the clubhouse.
