A MYTH AMONG ITALIAN MOTORCYCLES
In the 1970s in Italy the displacement 350cc go through a lucky period.
That kind of bike offers good performances and some of them became the object of desire for many young motorcyclists: among these the Moto Morini 3 1⁄2 Sport stands out.
Its engine boasts electronic ignition, dry clutch, six-speed gearbox, excellent performance and affordable costs; it is also well finished, solid and reliable.
The look of the 3 1/2 Sport is definitely racing: the low two-piece handlebar, the word “SPORT” in red on the upper plate of the fork, the strictly red tank with the black insert, the steering damper, the stainless steel mudguards and the seat with rounded tail as on racing bikes of the sixties.
Light, compact, easy to handle and very agile, on guided routes with tight curves and hairpin bends, the 3 1⁄2 Sport annoys motorcycles with larger engine capacity.
The powerful and generous engine, within its unmistakable voice, allows to exceed 170 km / h.
Starting with this model, a front disc brake makes braking more modular and effective, which is still far from today's standards.
The kick starting is docile and there are no risk of kickbacks.
A certain concentration, at least in the first few minutes riding, must be reserved for the gearshift, which has the control pedal on the right side and the gears are reversed (first up).
The Morini 3 1/2 Sport on the road is handy and very fun, ideal for medium-sized motorcyclists.
