The Rolls Royce of motorcycles is silent, powerful and majestic
with the virile impetus of the sporty
The BMW R90 S was launched in 1973 and represents the maximum evolution of the timeless BMW boxer twin, in terms of power and sportiness.
This model, with the hand-shaded painting in golden tones, from silver gray to orange, became the synonym of the S: the Daytona Orange.
It is the first production motorcycle with an aerodynamic protection fixed to the handlebar, a feature that immediately made it coveted among the sportiest customers.
The BMW R90S has narrowed down the differences between the sporty "maxi" and the touring ones; it has brought together speed, handling and comfort in a new and very elegant style.
In an instant, he aged all the competitors, becoming a reference point difficult to match.
When the R90S hits the road its handling is more than satisfactory and its considerable weight disappears; the bike is pleasant to ride in curves, which can be tackled with confidence even at high speeds.
Such handling is mainly due to its low center of gravity and a good power is available at any speed.
The most surprising aspect is the smoothness of the engine, its elasticity and its shooting qualities.
The R90S, despite its imposing size, is quite easy to ride; it is suitable for motorcyclists of medium experience and does not require particular physical presence.
The comfortable and wide saddle welcomes the passenger who will enjoy the amazing landscapes of our motorcycle tours in absolute relax.
